We Love L.A. Week! “Forty Pounds of Trouble”
The Tony Curtis film Forty Pounds Of Trouble filmed extensively in DISNEYLAND Park. It was the only non-Disney film allowed to film in the park up until that time, personally authorized by Walt Disney himself.

The scene from the film Lethal Weapon in which one of the characters jumps from a balcony was filmed in Long Beach, California at the International Tower.

We Love L.A. Week! “Die Hard”
When 20th Century Fox went looking for a building that could portray Nakatomi Plaza in Die Hard, it found one right behind its own backlot- the almost completed Fox Plaza Building that it was constructing behind its studio lot.

We Love L.A. Week! Hollywood Filming Locations
One of the most iconic scenes in Rebel Without A Cause took place at Los Angeles’ legendary Griffith Observatory. The actual spots used during filming are still there and still accessible today. While the Observatory has been used in countless films, the only film it has permanently memorialized is this one.
