For 5 years, Tommy Wiseau advertised his strange film with a billboard on Highland Avenue in Hollywood. The billboard, which appears to be advertising some sort of vampire film, caught the eye of many industry folks who actually went to see the film. They quickly discovered that The Room billboard was much better than The Room movie.
